SmartRemote
When you connect the SmartRemote to a power socket using the included micro USB plug, you’ll notice that the orange light on the SmartRemote begins to blink. This blinking light serves as an indicator that the internal battery is currently in the process of charging. The SmartRemote is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery, which is designed to offer reliable performance and longevity. Charging the battery from a completely empty state to full capacity takes approximately 4 hours. Once the battery is fully charged, the orange light will stop blinking and will instead remain steadily illuminated while still connected to the charger. This steady orange light confirms that the charging process is complete.
After a full charge, the SmartRemote can be used for up to 8 hours when operating with a Bluetooth connection. If you are using the SmartRemote without Bluetooth enabled, the battery life can extend significantly, lasting up to 16 hours on a single charge. This makes the device suitable for extended training sessions or multiple uses throughout the day without needing to recharge frequently.
As the battery begins to run low, the SmartRemote provides a clear visual warning. The orange light, which typically blinks slowly during charging, will begin to blink rapidly when the battery level is critically low. At this point, you can expect approximately 30 more minutes of usage before the device shuts down and requires recharging.
To quickly check whether the SmartRemote still has battery power, simply press the Bluetooth button on the device. If the blue light does not blink or illuminate at all after pressing the button, this is a clear sign that the battery is empty and needs to be recharged before the SmartRemote can be used again.
